I wish to say a big thank you and congratulations to all involved in the Eurostar SER Classic.

Thank you to Owen Byrne of Glendown Marketing and Eurostar for coming on board as our main sponsor. Also to Joan Keogh and Spruce Lodge, Alan Ward of Saoirse Saddlery, Ciaran Buckley of Shanaclune Equine Dentistry, Collette Ward Davies of Dressage by Design, Top Spec, Folkstown Feeds and Dressage Ireland.

Congratulations to all the hardworking people who helped make the weekend a success. Lynne, Collette, Rosie, Ivan and Rachel who did the forward planning. Thank you to the army in red and all helpers, scribes, judges, call up, arena stewards, car park stewards, announcements and music, drivers of judges to and from airports, caters and tidy uppers. I was delighted to see so many members from the region helping, including those who could not ride on the day. This truly was a show manned by it’s members - plus many more - and it’s great to see it.

Lastly, thank you to all the competitors, many of whom travelled a long way. Without you there would be no show. Congratulations to those who won prizes. Congratulations to those who did not. Looking at the scores the standard was very high and you should all be proud.

Thank you to those who sent kind words of appreciation, I am happy you enjoyed the weekend. I apologise for not being able to be there myself, but roll on next year!
