Unique Dressage Training with Joyce Head 11.10.2014

Thirty eager participants attended the South East Regions Unique Dressage Training at the conference centre in Spruce Lodge. Mrs Joyce Head, who is a list 2 BD judge, arrived with her laptop and case full of videos. Videos of British and European competitions dating way back to the early 2000s containing every level from Preliminary to Grand Prix. We were lucky enough to be the first group to see the videos of this years British Dressage Championships. Everyone agreed that to be able to concentrate on one particular movement being performed by different horses was very interesting. As we watched the tests and we got more confident the ‘guess the percentage’ at the end of each test became more accurate.

It was such an enjoyable day with such good feed back from everyone that I can only urge other regions to hold a similar day.
