More Stabling for the Classic

SER Classic News
The SER Classic is approaching and it’s time to fill you all in on what is happening.
PRIZES: As usual half the entry fees will be given back as prize money. In addition rugs will be given to the first rider in each category from Preliminary to Grand Prix. To be eligible for prizes riders must ride the same horse in both tests at any one level. Trail Blazers will be considered as one class and the best score to count. Also, Freestyle classes will be grouped together - depending on the numbers entered - with the best score to count.
SCHEDULE: It is hoped to hold the Trail Blazer and Freestyle classes on the Saturday. This will only changed if entries dictate that we have to adjust.
YOUNG HORSE CLASSES: Although both 4 and 5 year old horses will both ride the FEI 4 year old test we will have 4 yo horses on Saturday and 5 yo horses on Sunday
JUDGES: We are delighted to have three overseas judges join us. Yolanda Rama is an FEI Judge and Tim Downes and Kirsty Mepham are BD List 1 Judges. We will also have Gerd Liekens-Schurmans and Marie Hennessy on the panel. We hope to have two judges for each of the Small Tour/Big Tour Classes.

ENTRY FEES: Per test Trail Blazers 20 Euro, Juniors 25 Euro, Adults up to and including Advanced classes 30 Euro, Small/Big Tour classes 35 Euro. Please enter online or by post on the official DI entry form. Please do not leave your entry till the last minute as this causes great stress to the organisers.
BBQ: there will be a BBQ available on Saturday evening. Please bring your own food and join in and unwind with fellow competitors and members. There will be a catering van on site.
Keep the 3/4 August in your diaries for the Classic in Spruce Lodge. There will be three overseas List 1 judges on our panel. Freestyle classes will be available so get your music ready and have a run before the National Championships. As usual we will have a bbq (bring your own and share) and spend some time getting to know other members. We will also have a food van on site.
Stabling: Limited stabling is available on site in Spruce Lodge. Contact Mrs Joan Keogh in Spruce Lodge (see the Spruce Lodge website) directly. Other very local stables are also available. Info to follow or contact Mary Cox.
Copies of British Dressage tests may be purchased from the Dressage Ireland administration assistant (stocks allowing) or direct from British Dressage, Stoneleigh Park, Kenilworth, Warwickshire CV8 2RJ.
Sets of tests can be ordered by writing to the Dressage Ireland administration assistant.
